Where Have They All Gone?

The church yard is full. The families have gathered.

The wedding has come. Now they’ll be one.

The vows have been said. The ring is given.

He turns for the kiss, but she’s not there.

Where have they all gone?

Could it be that the Lord has come back and left me?

Take me Jesus. Take me Jesus. Please take me.

A man and his wife are in their bed sleeping.

She dreams he’s left home and wakes all alone.

She turns on the light and calls for him softly.

She looks all around, but he’ll not be found.

Where have they all gone?

Could it be that the Lord has come back and left me?

Take me Jesus. Take me Jesus.

Jesus Christ has come.  Jesus Christ has come.

Jesus Christ has come.  Jesus Christ, He has come.

He has come.
